I’ve authored four published books spanning basketball, culture and sports history: SLAM KICKS: Basketball Sneakers That Changed the Game; Courtside Candy: The Culture and Influence of Basketball; The Brooklyn Cyclones: Hardball Dreams and the New Coney Island; and Stars of Today, Legends of Tomorrow: On the court with the NBA’s biggest earners. These projects range from deeply reported narrative nonfiction to visually driven books about culture, sneakers and the players who shape the game.

I’ve also contributed to several other basketball and hip-hop books and helped a number of authors behind the scenes with structure, manuscript development and promotional guidance.

What I enjoy most about books is the chance to go deeper on subjects I care about and create something readers will want to spend time with.
